The song “Loving the Alien” has a sociological slant, alluding to conflicts between members of different faiths and creeds. The present exhibition takes its title from Bowie, who casts over it the thin, pale, noble shadow of the “man who fell to Earth” and made it tremble. It is a love story with four protagonists: Sandra Mujinga, Anne Duk Hee Jordan, Mari Katayama and Ovartaci. The backdrop consists of strange lands and mythic dimensions from another time, which the four artists view, in the here and now, from parallactic angles. Therein resides true love, the love that shatters the illusion we call world, which is nothing more than the encounter with the Other, with the alien.

La canción “Loving the Alien” tiene un cariz sociológico, aludiendo a conflictos entre miembros de distintas fes y credos. Esta exposición toma su título de Bowie y sobre ella proyecta él su sombra noble, pálida y delgada de “hombre que cayó a la tierra” y la hizo temblar. Es una historia de amor con cuatro protagonistas: Sandra Mujinga, Anne Duk Hee Jordan, Mari Katayama y Ovartaci. Con ellas se despliegan tierras extrañas, dimensiones míticas con otra temporalidad que ellas muestran desde esta en ángulo de paralaje. Ahí reside el verdadero amor, el amor
que hace saltar por los aires la ilusión que llamamos mundo y que no es otra cosa que el encuentro con el Otro, con el alien.)
