The journey is a blank page
moved by the passion of ferment.
It dawns with the imagination
And even though it means leaving the well-being of home,
Our breath and marrow thrive on the ideas of the journey.

It makes landfall with our first steps
Intent on tempering itself with air.
It’s in no hurry to complete its passage,
The journey knows how to manage its time
For the good of our brains.
It makes do with a little comfort
The hours in the day and the snows of the year are plenty.

Life itself is the principal journey
The journey for those of us who are alive.
It’s a source of wisdom
Life, the journey and in its shadow, you and me.

Bidaia grina baten legamiak,
Haizatutako ohial txuri bat da.
Irudimenean egunsentitzen da,
Eta etxeko abegia
Utzi aitzin ere
Bizi ditu bidaiaren ideiak
Gure hezur-muin
Eta arnas-mamiak.

Lehen pausoekin lurreratzen da
Airearen lainezan zetzan asmoa.
Ez du presarik izanen
Bere patua burutzen,
Bidaiak ez baitaki
-gure burmuinaren ernegaziorako-
Denbora kudeatzen.
Erosotasunik apurrenak asi zaizkio,
Eta soberan egunaren orduak
Eta urtearen elurteak.
